Tranquility at Home's mission is to provide seniors the ability to live comfortably in their homes while providing quality, compassionate care.
Quality
All of our staff participate in monthly and quarterly continuing education in-services. This time not only allows caregivers the chance to refresh their skills, but also allows caregivers to be kept aware and educated on best practices on providing services to your loved one. In addition, all staff receive routine supervised visits to ensure clients are receiving quality care. This opportunity also allows us to adjust your loved one's plan of care to accomodate any health changes.
Communication
Our staff believes that communication is essential to providing the best care possible to your loved one. We will work with you to provide a systematic approach to communicating with you that best suits your life style. Our methods include telephone conversations, email and all clients receive written communication through a record that is kept in the client's residence. When we discuss your loved one's plan of care, we will also discuss how frequently you would like to hear from us. Typically we like to communicate weekly, in addition to our visit notes which are left in the home. Quality communication is essential to providing quality care.
Value
While we determine the plan of care that best suits your loved one, we will also take into account the cost of providing such care. Our process is clear and straightforward. All of our charges and fees are presented up front in an itemized list which cleary outlines the service to be provided and the cost for the service. At any time, services may be adjusted to reflect the changes that occur in a loved one's life or health status.
Education
Staff receive mandatory monthly in-service education that keeps caregivers up to date and current in the best practice methods of caring for your loved ones. In addition to monthly in-services, quarterly meetings are conducted to recap and strengthen Tranquility at Home's mission of providing quality and compassionate care by instilling our values into caregivers.
Locally Owned
Tranquility at Home is locally owned and operated. We are not under the direction of a national franchise that requires us to adhere to a cookie-cutter model. Our independance allows us to provide customized and individualized care that meets the needs of the client, not the needs of a franchise. |
